Life feels a lot like a fight.
A long complicated fight. There are a lot of things we’re fighting for each day. We’re fighting for things we believe in and things we want. We’re fighting for people that we love. We’re fighting to know the truth in a world where, well,
We are not really sure who is telling us the truth.
We’re fighting against so many things that keep coming against us. Most days they feel like the waves of the sea. As soon as we find our footing to stand up, the next thing crashes over us. We’re battling our thoughts, our past, our memories, and our feelings. We’re deflecting other people’s misguided perceptions of us.
Some days, just making it till bedtime feels like a fight.
It makes sense that God’s Word would devote a lot of time to this topic. In this episode we’re going to talk about fighting the “Good Fight”. What in the world does that even mean? How are we supposed to “Be Still” and “Fight” at the same time? If you know me, you know I want to dig in one level deeper when it comes to topics that trip me up every day. If you know me, you know I want to bring you along for the ride.
Let’s find out what it means to fight the good fight.
